The mailman

Today, on my first day at my new job delivering mail, I was yelled at by a guy, who threatened to shoot me if I "trespassed" on his property. He made me toss his mail toward his porch from the street, before telling me to get lost. FML

Eh, look at it this way. Now that that's done, you can save some time and effort at that stop just flinging mail instead of having to drop it in the box. His loss, your gain.

I believe it is actually illegal to interfere with a mailman's ability to deliver the mail to the box. You should report him to your boss if he keeps hindering you like that.

I agree-I was under the impression that if the mailbox is inaccessible to the postal worker, it goes back to the USPS. Even if it's underneath snow. You're required to make your postal box accessible. You are probably required to report this to your supervisor as an "incident report." It gets filed under dogs or something.
