Today, I took my printer to work because the one in my office is broken. When I tried to leave, my boss stopped me and accused me of stealing it from the office. Nobody would believe me when I explained. Now my boss has a new printer. FML

I mean FYL for getting your printer taken but why would you bring yours in? I dunno that seems really unnecessary and weird, like were you about to get fired for not having a hard copy of a report and already reported the broken printer?

shouldn't have brought your own printer in. Where I work, IT regularly visit and take whatever they damn well like, including my brand new ergonomic mouse (company paid for though). I just learned to say "equipment don't work, so I can't do that job until our section replaces it". If your office has more than one printer, why not just network connect to another one?
