Today, a character in the video game I was playing called my character a slut. My boyfriend ripped the controller from my hands, shot him dead, then fired the rest of my ammo into his corpse while yelling "FUCK YOU, BUDDY!" Good to know I'm dating a total lunatic. FML

He felt bad about it and decided to shoot the character in the game as he called you a ****. Why is that so weird? He likes you and I think it's rather sweet of him to do so. It was just a game, after all. Boys are always aggressive whilst playing games Though in reality it could be a problem....

#65, I felt the exact same way. I'm just hoping it's a joke but, even if it's not, OP did call the guy a lunatic :P I find it pretty immature if that was his honest reaction to a video game... it's a GAME. Which HE wasn't even playing. I just don't get it... Lol!

I think it's nice that the bf has OP's back in that way and defends her from haters :) Also, someone behaving aggressively in a video game doesn't necessarily mean they would do that IRL! Video games are meant to be for fun/stress relief and to feel powerful in a way that's different from real life.

That is hilarious. My fiancé hates when we are playing a game together, and another player hears that I'm a girl and gets all creepy like. Doesn't bother me, I can ignore it. He on the other hand makes the creep his number on target and destroys them. Lol

Agreed, hopefully it's a joke, but flipping out over small stuff is usually as sign of bigger issues. Some time a cigar is just that, but it could be a red flag of things to come.
