Today, a customer broke my nose for refusing to give him a discount because the product he was buying had a fine layer of dust on the box. FML

Haha that's ridiculous! I work in a dry cleaners and there is always dust/lint every where. If one of our customers complained I would seriously just laugh

Wow some people really do make me hate this world, the person who hit you is one OP

Rub the dust on him & say "no dust , no discount" or punch him back.

The customer is NOT always right. Sorry about your pain and suffering OP. I hope you send that miserable prick to jail and make him pay your hospital bills.

OP, hopefully some of your blood got on his hand then dripped onto the floor causing him to slip on it and fall through a plate glass window on his way out the door.

Well he had a point you know! I mean how DARE you allow your products to get dusty! Everyone knows that cashiers have nothing better to do than dust products all day which will then gather dust again after five seconds! I mean GOSH, isn't that your job? (Sarcasm off) Okay, in all seriousness OP people like him suck and I sincerely hope that you pressed charges. My sister works in a bookstore and some stupid woman came in screaming at them because the store had sold out all the copies of the book she wanted and they would only get new copies in two or three days. The only other branch that still had a copy was one in another city. She refused to wait the few days and complained to the head office. Long story short, an employee had to drive all the way to the other city, after her shift, to get the damn book. Entitled douchebags have made me gain a lot of respect for everyone who works in retail.

Entitled douchebags are one reason I don't want to work retail ever again.
