Today, a homeless guy asked me for a cigarette. Knowing that I only had a couple left in my pack, I gave it to him. He opened it, took one out and thanked me profusely. A bit surprised, I went on my way. Oh yes, that's right, the pack contained the money I'd withdrawn from an ATM. FML

Damn, that bites.... But I clicked YDI because I hate smoking and everything to do with it. Especially when people blow smoke right into my face.

Wow OP that sucks that you lost so much when you did that. I smoke as well and know the taxi of sharing my smokes when I can or giving someone my last two for whatever reason. I voted yls, just because of the money you lost and i saw it was a good bit in the illustration...

It says it was money he'd gotten from an ATM, so I'd guess it was more than just pocket change.

Don't put your money in your cigarette box and you will not worry about it getting given away or stolen. However, while you have lost out on money, that homeless guy likely thinks you're the best person in the world.
