Today, a huge and angry man stormed into my work and threatened to kill me if I didn't stop sleeping with his wife. He then threatened to come back and kick my ass if I so much as texted his wife again. The problem is, I'm married, have never cheated and I work for my wife's father. FML

People really like threatening others these days. Call the police if it becomes violent.

well **** a duck, that's awkward, I say track him down and explain he's got the wrong guy before it snowballs into a bigger issue

I heard that the husband even caught them on camera.

I'm curious to know how the wife's father reacted.

Well, hopefully your father-in-law doesn't employ you in the mafia, or in the hunting supply business. Being surrounded by guns wouldn't be in your favour. If he isn't, you might be okay. In any case, hopefully he believes your side of the story!

What do u mean not in his favor? He is being treaten. If i was surrounded by guns at that time i would be happy

Hopefully "your wife" isn't living a secret double life. :P

I'm reading this that his FIL is having the affair. Be a good SIL and discreetly inform him of the situation. You might get the employee of the month award!

You're reading it wrong. OP got accused of cheating in front of his FIL so he knows it will get back to his wife, even though he's innocent. So he's got a massive, angry man after him, and probably a pissed off wife now too

32-thanks for explaining that! i was confused as to why working for his father in law had anything to do with the FML but that makes a lot of sense

For some reason, I'm imagining it as a store with a uniform for it's employees and the cheating wife telling her husband "He works at *name of store*. He's the one wearing *store uniform*." Then she is off with the mailman, while OP is getting threatened by her husband.
