Today, a pretty girl joined the line at the bus station. I let her skip the line and go before me so I could sit next to her. After she bought her ticket, I realized there were no more seats left on that bus. I was told to get off, and had to take the next bus, sitting next to a snoring old man. FML

Just because she's pretty does not mean you should let her cut in line.

Plot twist: the next time you see a pretty girl again, she lets you go on first and the only seat open is next to the same snoring old man.

People this is a “YDI” a lot of you are saying how nice it was of him to let her skip the line. I would be pretty mad if I had been waiting in line and some dude let a “cute” girl in line. I could understand if they were a couple already. I would be mad to know I missed a bus after standing in line because of this.

Well, to be fair, you would have missed the bus anyway. The girl got the ticket OP would have had, or OP would have gotten the last ticket.

Don't let your dick do your thinking for you

ydi for pre-meditating a meeting with someone who probably didn't even want you sitting next to her for all you know. fhl

Ulterior motives rarely pan out. Next time be nice without expecting some sort of reward.

All he wanted to do was sit next to her so he could talk to her. But apparently he has ill intentions?!?! Who cares if he wanted to talk to her? Is doing something nice for someone as a means to try and talk to them bad? If that's so awful, how are men suppose to go about talking to women? Oh and lets not forget she would have missed the bus, but apparently he's an ass hole for simply wanting to talk to someone.

Thats what you get for trying to creep on someone who probably just wanted to go from one place to another without being pestered.

TIL finding a woman attractive and being nice to her so you can start a conversation is creepy. If being nice to initiate conversation is creepy, then just trying to talk to someone without first using a nice act to initiate conversation is practically an assault.
