Today, a soldier in my unit had unknowingly lost a GPS in the woods and my section was sent to go find it. After hours of wading through chest high swamps in 32 degree weather, the GPS was found, thanks to the soldier who lost it. It was in his vest. FML

I can't believe people think this says anything about the state of the military. Do you know how many highly intelligent people do shit like this on occasion? It happens.

yeah. A GPS unit should probably give its exact coordinates if it's worth a damn.

can't u get in trouble for sharing that op??

chalk another one up for the military. Oorah.

lol at all the idiots complaining that soldiers have time to post FMLs. soldiers have lives too, they can relax once in a while and aren't constanly 24/7 patrolling. as for him being in georga, that's probably where his base is located and he's going through training so that he can be deployed. Or he lived in George when he got an FML account and just brought his iPod/iPhone with him when he was deployed. retards these days....
