Today, at the café I work at, I was yelled at by a woman because the drinks and food she ordered were "taking too long". Before I had the chance to get a word in, she stormed out and said she would never come back. I didn't get the chance to inform her that she hadn't ordered yet. FML

Before I could answer, she gave me a really long recipe and said, "I expect to see this on the menu next time I come in, or I will complain to the manager about your lousy work ethic." Today, I was yelled at by a customer, who was upset over having waited twenty minutes for a waiter to come take her order. Maybe it would be understandable, if she was sitting in an actual restaurant, and not a serve-yourself coffee house. FML

Today, at my place of work in a fast-food restaurant, a customer called in and bitched at me that her warm food was weirdly cold. That is, after she drove 45 minutes from the restaurant to her house. FML

I work for one of those well-known pub chains that sell food as well as booze. We take all orders at the bar (no table service!). We're taught to ring the food orders through before dispensing the drinks, to speed up food delivery times. Every single customer walks away from the bar before I'm done pouring their drinks. Every. Damn. One. Doesn't matter if I'm the only visibly working staff member and there are six other customers in line behind them. People suck.

I work at Wendy's. People are so rude to us. Like, seriously? It's fast food and most of us are in high school. I work at a crazy Wendy's though. My manager openly says you have to be 3/4 mentally unstable to work there. I fit in nicely. ;) xD

You know when I was just out of college I worked at a Wendy's for awhile. I got the shit beat out of me by a giant lug of a moron because his girlfriend wanted him to. Why you ask? Because he got drunk on night and told her and a fellow co-worker he wanted to bend me over the sandwich station and show me what a real man was- which i found out later. I got fired when I got out of the hospital. It's always Wendy's. Sorry OP.
