Report him to the dean and school board immediately. A professor has no right to do something like that.
why not. he has freedom of speech. even in Canada
What was the answer?
There's not. Just stupid people?
If you can, file a complaint. That's pretty rude of him to do.
The **** you doing following him in the first place.
to many crybabies commenting. stop being so politically correct. the prof. has freedom of speech and he is exercising it. he didn't use your name. too bad.
Not everyone is from the US. OP is Canadian
Um, Canada has freedom of speech. Are you really so arrogant as to think you're the only free country in the world?
I saw that he was from Canada. they also enjoy freedom of speech. unless I missed something.
Canadian law allows for free speech - as long as the rights of others are being respected. Since it was OP's teacher (meaning he has authority over OP) and he made the comment in a public forum he can be prosecuted under Canadian anti bullying and harassment laws. That doesn't happen all the time of course, but if OP makes a complaint to the University the teacher will face a very real risk of losing his job (and possibly his teaching license) over this.
Well all you can do now is tweet about how professors have no respect anymore lol
if I was his boss and you complained I would explain that you made a choice to follow him on twitter and then kick you out of the office. ydi
I think sueing is a bit over the top.

At least he didn't name you specifically.
That's not right, he shouldn't post that kind of stuff about his students online.
