Today, after months of constant encouragement from my friends, I went and entered a singing contest. I sang and was booed off stage. Later on I found out my friends lied to me about my ability to sing, just so I could give them a cheap laugh. FML

Your friends are awesome! They put up with your shitty singing for months, all while keeping a straight face, just to deliver the knockout blow at this contest. It was not a "cheap laugh," but one that required a lot of dedication and had a huge payoff! By the way, I love freaks like you. For me, the only part of American Idol that is worth a shit to me is the auditions . . . I love the "horribles!" I hope you haven't retired from singing.

That really sucks. I hate people that don't understand how hard it is to get up in front of people and sing. Tell those twats to get up and try it for themselves, even so, perhaps singing isn't a good career path for you.

Vocal coaches and singing teachers never tell you that you suck - you're paying them shitloads so they tell you whatever the **** you want to hear, as long as you keep paying them. My experience anyway!

FTL, what jerks. It is really hard for me to get up in front of a group, so I know what you mean. I would advise looking for new frineds cuz that is just screwed up.

well. It seems your friends dont have your best intrest in mind. Mayhap its time to find some new ones. And by the way, not knowing you don't sing well is kind of strange. Even tone deaf people know they are tone deaf.

as much as that totaly sucks, if u were bad enough to be booed off the stage then it must have been pretty horrible. I mean, could u hear urself at all?? sorry to be nasty but really if it was that bad, u would have noticed i would think. ohwell ppl will get over it and im sure u have many other tallents. Picking friends and singing thou?? not so much :P

My friend has the same problem... he thinks he sings well, but is freaking terrible. However I am not a douchebag, like your 'friends', because I usually suggest very friendly ideas to improve his singing, such as, he could record his voice and improve his vocals by studying them, however he never seems to try it... So yeah to the point, FYL and Fk Your Friends Lives for putting up with your terrible singing, because I bet they actually offered suggestions to improve your vocals, but you ignored them...asshat.
