Today, after pouring my heart out to a beautiful girl on Facebook, and having her return the favor, she typed a final message that read, "That was my friend. Please f*ck off now. Thanks." FML

Okay. Instead of "pouring your heart out" and potentially looking like an obsessive maniac, why not just say something along the lines of "I like you, let's go out"? Unless you have been dating it is so inappropriate to gush about your romantic feelings to someone who most likely does not feel the same way. More often than not you end up making the other person uncomfortable and you look strange.

That's one reason why this sort of thing should be done face-to-face. It's too easy to troll and be trolled on a social networking website. Sorry, OP, for your misfortune though.

Should have just waited like torn mins before commenting back and been like "Wtf my friend was on my comp I don't like you either B*tch"

Create a Craigslist ad posing as her stating that she has rape fantasies and wants the real thing. Let the rest happen naturally.

You would really do that over Facebook? No wonder she told you to **** off.

Why couldn't you just go up to her and do the same?

It makes me laugh everyone saying "Do it in person." If it took him that long and that much courage to even do it online, how do you expect him to be in person? He would be a nervous wreck. And to those who say date first. You expect him to say "I like you, let's date"? If he gets shot down then and there, the love he had is gonna sit with him as he stays alone and heartbroken.
