Today, after spending hours putting up our tree and decorating it, it fell over and shattered the glass ornaments. FML

When things like this happen to me, I jus sit on the floor & put on a sad face. :(

Spouse: Honey, what's this? OP: That's the stand.

today, after writing a sentence, the subjunctive clause thought there was something with it.

This happens to me once every few years

Gotta be extra careful tightening up the base securely. Though isn't the tree going to be completely done for in a month's time anyway? Back when I still bothered putting up a tree, I'd just buy a pre decorated fake one on the 26th for 75% off, save it until next year, put it up, throw it out after Christmas and repeat.

If it's a fake one, why throw it out? They don't die off like real ones, might as well re-use it. If you think it's boring to have the same deco every year, just strip it off and use your own deco. This sounds kinda... Wasteful :p

Err hello? it's f**king November the last time I checked. Maybe you should consider starting around February next time! Farkwit!

That's what happens when you decorate your Christmas tree in BLOODY November.

Heaven forbid someone get it done early, huh *******?

"hey, it's January already? Happy Valentines day!" "oh look, it's already June! Wanna go see Red White and Boom?" "its finally September! Happy Halloween!" Hmmmm...

since they were preparing for Christmas and not actually celebrating it, let me fix that for you. "hey, it's January already? Good time to get the valentines presents" "oh look, it's already June! Good time to buy the fireworks" "its finally September! Good time to buy costumes" Nice try though.
