92- I agree! This story could be weeks old, and people on here are saying "it's close to a holiday, you should expect it". In the town I used to live in, it was a city regulation that fireworks were only to be set off the night before a holiday and only then. Other than that it was considered a disturbance and you were aloud to report it to the police.

Actually I've had FMLs get published just a few hours after submitting them. I suspect that on a slow day, the mods will post older submissions that go in the "reserve" pile, so to speak.

She deserves it for being self-centered enough to think the world should stop just for her. It's a holiday weekend. A holiday which celebrates the country gaining its independence. Everyone who's lived here at least a year knows that people celebrate by blowing stuff up. Why does the OP feel everyone should suddenly stop just because she has a sick, grumpy baby?
