Today, after waking up, I walk into the kitchen to see my two-year-old with a blue sharpie in hand as he says, "Look mom, color!" He left no appliance or cabinet untouched in his coloring masterpiece, and I'm still trying to figure out where he got the sharpie from. FML

Apparently mommy can't go to the bathroom, because that's where I was for a whole 2 minutes while he did it.

Only thing worse than an unsupervised two year old is two unsupervised two year olds.

A common practice is using the restroom almost immediately after waking up. Being a parent doesn't exempt an individual from this.

omg you gotta clean it up and teach him!

Are you suggesting that you punish a kid for drawing Mommy a picture? No, you clean it up and then talk to him, explaining to him why that is a "no no" and giving him paper to draw on instead. Teach him to draw on paper, not punish him for trying to be creative and trying to make Mommy proud.

pretty sure that's what they said. she said teach him, she didn't say punish him.

They're fast. Faster than you. Don't blink.

Dont even blink. If you blink, youre dead

On those that it wont damage you can use rubbing alcohol to get it off

Spray some WD-40 on a rag and it'll come right off. Spray done Windex or Pledge on after to get off any residue.

yep this works perfectly. acetone and "magic erasers" stirpp the paint and varnish under the sharpie

Yet another of the hundreds of uses for WD-40.

Kids will be kids. You can only laugh.

he also could've had a dad. it was a joke, not an anti gay rant.

the kid certainly will have a dad.

Been there, done that. next 2 years may be worse. bigger kids. bigger mischief.

Wow. It's like what can you even do? Magic eraser?

I'm not even mad, I'm actually impressed! Haha
