Today, as a student reporter for our college newspaper, I interviewed the president of my university. I was surprised to get an interview with him, and because of my nerves, as soon as I walked into his office I tripped over my own feet and fell face first into the ground. FML

Today, I went to a big job interview. As I walked in, I tripped and fell flat on my face. Other highlights include my voice cracking multiple times, sweating profusely and getting uncontrollable nervous giggling. The interviewer eventually stared at me in disbelief and asked if I was high. FML

Today, I was late to a lecture when I tripped up the stairs. With a few hundred people already staring and laughing at me, I started to curtsy to my "adoring fans" but instead fell backwards down the massive flight of stairs. FML

Today, I met my celebrity crush in an official capacity, I was completely tongue tied and when I stood to shake her hand, I tripped and fell with my face in her cleavage. She thought it was funny, but I was mortified and my boss suspended me until security footage proves I didn’t do it on purpose. FML

When I was an undergrad, I managed to get an appointment with one of the most award-winning professors on campus to discuss transferring to his department for graduate school and a position as his research assistant. I dressed up nicely, but because I've had back surgery, I walked barefoot across campus carrying my heels with the intention of putting them on right before I entered his office. I forgot. It didn't occur to me until after I left our meeting, feeling great and confident at first, that I'd done the whole thing barefoot while holding my shoes.
