Today, as I was doing the morning count for the registers, a lady walked by and saw me. She's got Alzheimer's, and thought I was robbing the guy I'd bought the store from, so she called the cops. I spent six hours in jail while they looked into it, and didn't even get an apology. FML

Wow, I hope she doesn't do it again tomorrow! And the next day, and the next day...

They do need to apologise for wrongful arrest, though, #4.

this comment is the exact same one the one that says "today i was running and i got randomly arrested. The reason: someone robbed a house nearby and the districption they had was a running male. I didnt even get an apology" WOW

ya more proof that all cops are ass holes i should wright a book about how big of ass holes every last one of them are and for any cops reading this go f*ck yourselves and enjoy burning in hell

Well not ALL cops are jerks - I've known some very good ones, but these cops were jerks. The woman has Alzheimer's for crying out loud, before holding OP for 6 hours, they should have looked into that first.

This is fake. The cops just show up and arrest the owner of a store because some little old lady called? Think about this. It would be like the cops showing up to your house and arresting you for breaking in because a random person called in a break-in.

Why would a lady with alzheimers apologize to you? I'm sorry for you, but she can't help it

In America, an apology is an admission of guilt and can leave one open to litigation in some circumstances.
