(I've been told my comment is too long, so I will post it in pieces. Hopefully this, too, is not against the rules.) I don't necessarily think that women deserve to be beaten, nor do I think anybody deserves to be beaten. I do, however, believe that women are quite unfairly favored in most cases.

We are led to believe that men and women are equal, but I don't think it's fair to label us as equal if we can't be treated equally. We are led to believe that EVERYONE is equal, but when a white man kills a black man, it's considered a hate crime.
