Today at camp, we were choosing teams for capture the flag. It's embarrassing to be chosen last, but today I learnt it's even more embarrassing to not be chosen at all. FML

Today, on my first full day on Marine Corps boot camp, my drill instructor pulled me and another kid in front of 200 other recruits to vote on who was uglier between the two of us. I won. FML

Today, I went to our school golf banquet, after being with the team and practicing every day for a few months with them. When it came time to get the certificates, all the names were called out. Except for mine. When I asked the coach where my certificate was, he said "Who are you?". FML

Today, I found out I didn't get accepted into a program I was nominated to attend at work that all other applicants with less experience than myself did. I found out when they asked if I had gotten the acceptance email. They didn't even bother telling me I was rejected. FML

Today, the summer camp I work at had its annual scavenger hunt, wherein the counselors hide and the kids look for us. It was my first year there, so some of my colleagues showed me the "best hiding spot." Two hours later, still undiscovered, I realized they just wanted to get rid of me. FML

I believe that makes you the Free Agent who takes flags from either side and is invincible to tagging. You also have to yell "FREE AGENT, FREE AGENT" as you run around waving the captured flags. If the other players find it disruptive, perhaps they can assimilate you into one of the teams. If it's not TOO much trouble.

Just sit on the sideline looking sad. The when someone grabs the flag and starts running, take off sprinting towards them. Line them up and viciously shoulder tackle them. Get up, do the Ray Lewis running out of the tunnel dance, and throw in a Rack Flair "Woooooooo!" for good measure. You will no longer be picked last.
