Today, at work as a cashier, I had a male customer come up to me and ask me what hours I worked today, like he has done for several weeks now. Immediately after, my manager calls my lane to tell me to watch out for that guy. He has been stalking a co-worker of mine. Apparently, I'm next. FML

Today, I was suspended from work. Some lady went to the manager and told them that I was stalking her, all because I would kindly greet her everyday at the grocery store. I'm the cashier. FML

Today, while walking around the local thrift store, I noticed an attractive guy watching me and following me through the aisles. As he followed me to my car I was sure I would get his number. He then asks me to bring my purse inside as I had been tagged as a shoplifter. I work at the store. FML

Today, just like every other day, I noticed that one of my male coworkers always stares at me while passing by or when it's time for lunch. I read somewhere that if a person stares at you too long, they either want to have sex with you or want to kill you. He has a girlfriend, so I doubt it's the first option. FML

Today, a man finally was flirting with me in a supermarket checkout lane, even offering to help unload my groceries onto the conveyor. Turns out he was just distracting everyone so his partner in crime could steal $200 from the cash register. I had to give a witness statement to the manager. FML

Today, I'm preparing my defense for allegedly stalking someone at work. The best part, I have absolutely no clue who it is. Now my skin is crawling as I go through all the messages and in person events that occurred with my actual twice-my-age stalker to show my boss what a real stalker does. FML

Today, a customer came into the music shop I work in to look at guitars. After calling the customer "Dude," and "Man," numerous times, they stalked off suddenly. When I asked if everything was okay, they responded with, "I'm female, you asshole!" FML

ewww!! a customer at my old work found me on myspace once, and i never wore a nametag so he didn't even know my name, god knows how he found me!! people can be soo creepy. fyl

that happened to one of my friends are work, what made it worse was her parents rents out rooms to people that are staying in the area too long for a hotel room but not long enough for an apartment. He found this out and tried staying in their house. turns out he's a registered sex offender in new jersey.

Why on earth would you not find him asking you your schedule for SEVERAL WEEKS suspicious? I would have been scared the second or third time he asked. And of course you should consider legal action now, before anything happens...

#28, many guys don't know how to not come off as a stalker. And since many women have to deal with the threat of stalkers, they're not going to give you the benefit of the doubt. When I used to work retail, I just told people that I never knew when my hours were.
