Today, at work as a cashier, I had a male customer come up to me and ask me what hours I worked today, like he has done for several weeks now. Immediately after, my manager calls my lane to tell me to watch out for that guy. He has been stalking a co-worker of mine. Apparently, I'm next. FML

... just tell him you have a thing for dead animals. beastialiacness? weird out the werido. or if hes cute, date him. if you're desperate enough to tell anyone when you get off work, then you're probably desperate enough to go out with a weirdo like him.

Why is everyone assuming the author gave out that information? Presumably she didn't, if he keeps asking. It's an awkward situation: obviously you don't want to encourage these creepy guys, but being bitchy or sarcastic - as tempting as it is - might provoke them to turn nasty. I guess all you can do is be civil and nothing more, in the hope that they get bored and move on. At least it sounds like your colleagues are taking the problem seriously.

#13 Bad advice... Going out with a weirdo is never smart no matter how desperate you are. You forget that the "apparently harmless" weirdo doing 'nothing more than stalking' the girls might one day murder her if she tries to break up with him. Never assume people are less scary than they seem. Especially if they've proved to be creepy already by stalking other people. There are TONS of ways to avoid answering the question, too. The easiest one being lying about your work hours.

#4, how is it stupid? It wouldn't have seemed creepy till the manager told her what they did. : |

I hope you haven't been giving him your hours. If so, you are a hardcore dumbass and deserve it.

hahaha, this happened to me once, everyone knew he was a child molester except me, but no one actually told me until i left the job! FYL it sucks

#15 its good advicee... just weird him out BEFORE you go out with him then. like when he asks just say some shit like yeah ive got to go to wicca prayers and then im going to go worship the bug scientology god. or whatever. tell him you're a scientologist. (Y)

Get your manager to ban him from the store, we had a similar situation where i work and the cops came to escort this creep out because he wouldn't leave, they didn't arrest him but he isn't allowed to come back anymore.

Be very unfriendly to this customer. Crazy people interpret politeness as love. Be rude to him, seriously. NEVER smile at him. I heard of this one girl who smiled at a customer, and the customer thought that meant she loved him, and he stalked her and killed her! Be mean to him!
