Today, being a big believer in karma, I found it fitting that a girl that was always a bitch to me in high school is now fat and ugly. After sending one of her recent pictures with a mean caption to a few of my friends, I tripped and sprained my wrist falling up the stairs. Karma. FML

Today, a nasty brat at the restaurant finally tripped up while running around uncontrollably, and hurt himself. I commented to my wife that "karma finally struck." The brat's mom heard me and threw my keys into the kids' ball pit. It’s been over an hour and even the bar staff can’t find my damn keys. FML

It happened to you because you believe in this sort of thing. If you didn't believe in it, this wouldn't have happened. :) Apparently you believed that you did something wrong, something that warranted punishment, and you were subconsciously expecting retribution. So you set yourself up...Voilà! As for her being mean to you in the past, and now growing to become, in your eyes, unappealing--the causal relation exists in your mind only. The way our minds work, we notice the scarce events that fit into remarkable patterns, and ignore the events that fit nothing, even though they're much more numerous. I'd check more info about that girl, if I were you, since you're already asserting yourself at her expense. Perhaps she's happy...wouldn't that suck.

Um FYL because you believe in Karma. Karma does not exist. It's for weak-minded fools seeking for an answer where one doesn't exist. Shit happens; get used to it.
