Today, I am 8 weeks pregnant. I have debilitating 'morning sickness' all day. And now I get to add peeing my pants every time I throw up. FML

If peeing myself while I'm constantly throwing up is a normal pregnancy at 8 weeks in then I don't think I ever want to be pregnant..

You should see your doctor about this. Being sick all day and losing control of your bladder this early in pregnancy are not generally normal.

THANK you. I'm glad someone said it. You don't generally lose bladder control, if at all until you're about 6 months along or further. I never lost mine. It's from the baby putting pressure on your bladder. She really should see a doc. I'm also certain that's not normal. :/

128... Actually, near the bladder is pretty much where the embryo begins to grow and continues. Everyone is different, but its a pretty good rule of thumb.

I think maybe part of it is just the amount of strain those muscles go through in a day. After throwing up 5,6,7 times a day, you sort of lose control of those muscles. Unfortunately :p

unfortunately, it is normal. I threw up from about 2-3 weeks pregnant, up until the day I had them. And even if I peed right before puking, I would still pee a little on myself.

itll go away. i just had my little one and for the first 3months, even the smell of subway had me running to the bathroom, even when i had nothing in my syomach, try ritz crackers instead of plain white ones. hope the rest of your pregnancy goes well :)

why wouldn't you just sit on the toilet with a bucket between your legs instead of pissing yourself every time? makes more sense ;)

It gets better... Not later on in the pregnancy... Not after the pregnancy... Not when the teething stops... Not when they go to school... Not when you pay for college... Not when they borrow money... Only when they get pregnant and you know their kids will get revenge for you... That's why grandparents love their grandchildren so much.

I'm not pregnant but I feel you on the whole peeing your pants every time you throw up. I do that too & it really does SUCK!

Wear an absorbent (nighttime) maxi pad. It helps with the peeing/puking conundrum.
