Today, I announced to my boyfriend that I'm pregnant. He immediately denied that it was his because "a childhood accident" supposedly left him sterile. He has a child from a previous relationship. FML

Walk away with the baby! When its born dont put a fathers name on the birth certificate. If he doesn't want to be part of its life then it's not worth keeping him around.

Why would you pick him to be a father? YDI for messing up your future child's life. Maybe you should remember that every man you have sex can be the father of your baby...since, you know, the main idea of intercourse is to make babies. And since you probably already knew he was a douche and a liar, why didn't you break up with him? Was the sex that great?

Hmmm I disagree on the main idea of intercourse being having baby... Most people who start having sex do it because it's fun, not to procreate...

Most people have sex for fun, but it is still nature's way to have children. And most people think, "oh it wont happen to me! I'll be fine!" Any time you have sex there is a chance of getting pregnant, even if you use condoms, spermicide, and birth control. And most people, especially young, wont even use these for the same mindset, it wont happen to them.

This is a great example why it's good that abortion is still legal in the US. Single OP had sex with a loser; she has a way to to put this behind her, and not saddle herself and a child with this creep.

I agree that anyone should have the right to have an abortion, but at the same time the mother doesn't have to be saddled with the father of her child. Many women can choose to be a single mother while dating someone else. Yes it's harder but at the same time, it would be better in situations like this to be a single mother then to be with a douche like this. This happened to my mother when she left my father, she found out she was pregnant with me during the divorce and became a single mother for 20 years. Of course, whatever decision is to be made is the OP's choice, and she'll have to live with that decision for the rest of her life. Best of luck to you OP and have strength, wether you keep the child or not.

I'm sorry that you got pregnant OP but you completely deserve this. One you are dating a complete and total assholelic moron, and two for having sex with him, most likely unprotected. Yes it is possible to get prengnat while using a condom and birth control, but it is very slim.
