This reminds me of that scene in the move 'Grandma's Boy' where the main character is really stoned, puts a bunch of food in the oven, and forgets to put on oven mitts to take it out!
TO THE PEOPLE SAYING HOW DID YOU NOT NOTICE IT WAS HOT (sorry bout the caps)...Pain sensing neurons are un myalinated so it takes a little longer to be receptive to the pain, especially if you have calloused fingers or even if you are not paying attention. Also some people have a higher pain threshold than others, I know someone who can't really feel anything on their hands. So it might have taken him a little longer to realize it was hot...sadly too long to notice before he put the food in his mouth.
