Today, I found a lost dog and called the owner. When he arrived, I thought it would be cute to put the dog down so he would run back into his owner's arms, like in movies. As soon as I put the dog down, it ran away again. FML

op, usually when you get a dog the first thing you do is put up barriers to prevent it escaping, here in the uk it's mandatory and needs to be done before the pre adoption check so ydi for being both lazy and irresponsible, you better hope your dog doesn't get run over

Get a tarantula. I had one and it was a good companion as long as you don't travel a lot. Plus, you can freak people out with it!

how sad, might I suggest Investing in a prostitute? I hear they are just as entertaining as dogs, and if you keept them on a leash they are around the same price as well.
