congrats ur completely retarded
I am pretty sure the manufacturer has someway to open it easily. Something similar happened to me in a hotel. The bell captain then opened the safe with a pocket knife and hairpins.
My safe has both a key lock, with two keys, and a combination lock, the safe locks automatically when I close the door and lift the handle. It also has a key lock that if pushed in, without the key being in it, will lock the safe again. When that button is pushed in I need the key to release it or I can't get the safe open even if I put the combination in. There are also bigger safes that when you close the door they have handles that spin and lock the bars into place. These do not require keys to close but do require keys to open. Now, I am pretty sure that all safes come with a manual that has a customer service number on it that you can call if that exact thing happens and they will send you a new key with verification of the product serial number and model number but you will have to pay for it. I know they will send someone to my house free of charge to open my safe because it has a warranty. So yes you can lock a key in a safe and yes it is very easy to get it open again.

Don't you need the key to lock it? If not, shouldn't you at least have a spare? At least now you can use it like those old fashioned piggy banks. Smash it! But in your case, you may need to use a diamond saw.
Dumbass!!
