Today, I bought my girlfriend two tickets to a Broadway show that was coming through town she really wanted to see. I couldn't attend with her due to work so she said she would take her mom. I found out later she took her ex. Now they're back together, and I paid for the date that made it happen. FML

@ # 34... broadway tickets can cost up to 1000 dollars. i bought tickets for wicked in new york and my seats cost a total of 800 for two. so... dont be so sure.

yeah, i agree with 51. this really pisses me off. she took advantage of your kindness - if it had been me, i would have sold the tickets online and found a different time to go so that i could go with her, but you were a gentleman and didn't make her change her plans. And this is how she repays you. people suck, man. find a nice girl.
