Today, I bought my girlfriend two tickets to a Broadway show that was coming through town she really wanted to see. I couldn't attend with her due to work so she said she would take her mom. I found out later she took her ex. Now they're back together, and I paid for the date that made it happen. FML

Although #21's proposed solution is a tad drastic, It seems that many people believe that the girl is a bitch (e.g.: #37 and #38 ). For what it's worth, I think she was already seeing the new guy. When you see a mouse, you've got mice. I wonder if she contrived this to make the final break, but it wouldn't be the first time that a girl sets up a whole new program, before ditching the old guy. In terms of the guy reconciling it, it's obvious to me that she was leaving him one way or the other. The ticket program just ending up randomly being the catalyst or whatever. That's my view totally move on
