Today, I came home and found a few of my faux fur coats completely butchered. On my way to interrogate my boys, the only ones home, I found our husky dog, who was recently shaved for an operation, covered in the fur that once belonged to my coat. My boys said 'he was cold'. FML

Today, I got home only to discover my dog was missing. After spending ages roaming the freezing streets calling his name, I returned to find him stuck behind the couch with my chewed-up new shoes in his muzzle. FML

Today, my son got really high and shaved the dog with my electric shaver. Not only does the dog look really bad, I didn't know my son used drugs. I now have to buy the dog a sweater and get my son some help. FML

Today, I found my dogs freezing outside. My neighbor was supposed to watch them while I was away, and on my way home I called to let her know she should let them have a quick walk. She thought I'd be home soon enough that she wouldn't have to let them back in. It was minus 10°C out. FML

Today, my mom called me to the laundry room after she saw a dead animal in there. I took a look and agreed we should call animal control. After ten minutes of freaking out, they finally arrived to confirm that the dead animal was the hood to my winter jacket. FML

Today, I took mine and my sister's dog for a walk in the park near my house. The dog managed to find a large piece of rotting, frozen meat buried in the snow and tried to eat it. I had to pry it from his mouth and can't get the smell out of my gloves and coat. FML

@ everyone being all, YDI - IT'S FAUX FUR. THAT'S NOT ABUSIVE TO ANIMALS AT ALL. Although I have always heard rumours that a lot of faux fur jackets contain real fur too.. Who knows?

I highly doubt that rumour is true. They could sell real fur for a lot of money, why would they secretly be putting it into faux fur jackets?

I've heard that faux fur is sometimes a pain in the ass to make. Maybe that's why.

They don't, however the pollution caused by the process to create faux fur actually kills more animals than would be required to make the same thing out of real fur. Also when you bury a real fur coat it will relatively quickly rot and become part of the earth again, however if you bury a faux fur coat it will pollute the ground you buried it in.

Why do you have multiple fake fur coats? One hairy coat: that's fair enough, everyone makes a bad buy occasionally. =) Two hairy coats: didn't you learn from the first mistake? =S Three hairy coats: for ****'s sake, do you consider yourself to be a cavewoman?!
