That wasn't right on your father's part but I'd like to believe you're mainly upset because you didn't have a chance to make the offer yourself. It sucks to lose possessions but they are replaceable (unless you had some sort of expensively unique guitar). If your family is in such financial difficulties that gas is a problem, try to be understanding. Maybe things will get better and your guitar will be replaced. Talk to your father.

same here. I just got a new acoustic, she's my baby. I don't let it stay out of my sight I'd other people are handling it.
