that's terrible D:
How could she even do that?! you should have told her oldies are always better then the new .... I'm so sorry :( I will pray for you a nice recovery.
Personally, just the thought of owning a PS4 makes me want to puke. You should tell her what she did was wrong, that buying that thing should be a crime (I mean, come on, no B/C for ****'s sake), and that she should be the one trying to get your stuff back.
Sorry OP but your (ex?) girlfriend is delusional. Even if she thought she was doing something great for you, how would buying it with YOUR money make her great?
Why would anyone in their right mind sell a N64 and Atari game console?! That's like selling perfection
Oh damn! Dump her. She clearly doesn't get you.
you know its just that stuff nothing more nothing less but if willing to lose a girlfriend of x amount of year or a wife over it than you don't need either one just go to little room and whiny like a little bitch about it. Really get grip on it man.
Ok, I've never collected something like this either, but even I know how long it takes to amass a whole collection. Quit being a jerk, she shouldn't have sold his stuff in the first place. It's theft and that stuff could've been valuable years down the road if he'd sold it himself.
This situation isn't superficial. She was inconsiderate and made a series of illogical decisions that led to the loss of something OP considered near and dear to him. It's not just that he lost his collection, it's that his stupid girlfriend stole his personal possessions and sold them without his permission. If someone doesn't respect you enough to leave your shit alone or buy you a gift with their own money, then they're not worth keeping. Get it together.
#171- How about you pretend you have old family heirloom that belonged to you. Your grandmother's wedding ring or something. The physical worth of it, pretty substantial, at least a new car's down payment, but the sentimental memories of your grandmother makes it worth 10x more to you. Your significant other sells your ring for an undisclosed amount to buy you an ereader, because you love to read. That would be ok right? Right? It's just a ring right? Certainly, you would trust them even after they STOLE from you. They were doing something nice FOR YOU! If I were OP, that bitch would have been sitting at the curb. Yes, it is just a physical item and yes, she thought she was doing something nice. But if she really cared about OP she would have ASKED! "You know, I never see you playing these old games you have, maybe we should sell them and get you something nice!" Beyond the price there is a huge trust issue here.
I am so sorry for your loss... my prayers are with you in this great time of need op.
Trade your girlfriend in for a new better-looking girlfriend, then say, "Aren't I the greatest?" Lol.

Childhood Ruined... I'm so sorry
She probably (hopefully) had the best intentions, but that doesn't explain why she thought it was normal to sell someone else's possessions.
