Wait...how do you condone or not condone gender dysphoria? That's like saying you approve or don't approve of clinical depression or being color blind or something. It exists, end of story. I mean, at best you can say you believe in it or not, but you can't really condone or not condone it.

OP - It’s really sad that when you came out to your parents this was their response. It makes me wonder if you had revealed your feelings along the way as they came to you if they would have responded the way they did, given time to digest what was going on. Sometimes I think it’s a mistake to hold back such important information until you “come out” all at once instead of letting your parents have the opportunity to have grown with you if that was possible. But in truth I do not know. OP, the other side of the coin is that if I read between the lines correctly - Were you using a credit card paid by your parents or your college fund to pay for hormone treatments? If you were, it was wrong to have done so without their knowledge. If you had a job and paid for your expenses then that is no issue in my opinion. I will be honest, I have never had to go through this either with my parents or children, so all I can do is speculate.

If they are cancelling your credit card it's obviously not yours to begin with right? Why do american youngins always seem to have credit cards given to them by their parents? Is this the standard? Help and Aussie out Also you're very brave to come out as trans! I hope you can find as much support as possible even though your parents are fucktards.
