Lol, that's what I was going to say!
Well, if you can't have sex, you can't get a STD. :D
Just buy her some condoms and tell her to be safe. That is if shes already had the talk. It's better than telling her not to have sex. These days it's kind of inevitable.
"These days"? Because people haven't always had sex? How do you think you were conceived?
Kids are starting to have sex at a much younger age. My parents and grandparents were all virgins until their wedding day. Back then it was normal-- if not expected! "These days" are not those day. You must be realistic and have the talk about protection and not just say "don't have sex" period! :P
Thank you!
#115 exactly, it's not that people are "starting younger" at all, it's that people are getting married older. If you get married in your early teens, chances are you will be a virgin when you do so. So the "saving yourself for marriage" thing was more common, but teenagers were still having sex just as early.
Honestly, I hate it when people make underage or premarital sex sound like a new thing. Premarital and underage sex has been around since the dawn of time. It only seems to be worse now because 1) people are getting married much later than they have in the past (seriously, Mary was 13 when she had Jesus and she was ENGAGED at the time). 2) It's more reported now than it ever was before. Back in the day, a pregnant teen was quietly sent away to a maternity home or "distant relatives" until she had the baby and (usually) gave it up for adoption. Also, how old is your mother? If your mother was raised in the 1960's or later then no, waiting for marriage wasn't as common anymore. You must remember that the 1960's or the "flower power" age saw a backlash against monogamy in favour of free love by the hippies, which were quite influential among the youth. Your mother may have been a virgin when she got married but not everyone was, especially around that time.
That's pretty bad and embarrassing but at least they didn't just say "screw it" and use no protection.
I think it's time to sit her down and have a little talk about safety with sex. She's obviously got the wrong idea.
Be happy they weren't totally stupid and tried something. This experience also takes the expression "no glove, no love" to a whole new level.
Make you wonder what hole to stick it in?
Makes you wonder who's idea it was. Not to mention what the hell went through their minds.

What a brilliant idea.
I hope you went oldies style and smacked them in the face with said glove.
