Today, I caught my teenage daughter doing her laundry for the first time ever. She had piles of black and white, but then she threw them together in the washing machine. I told her blacks and whites were supposed to be separate, but she just said, "End the segregation, mom." FML

She'll regret it when her laundry comes out ****** up though

I've never separated my colors while doing laundry. I've never had any problems with it.

You can't drill it into a child's head then change your statement that later. Phrasing!

Hahaha that's good. I do the same thing

That's why there are tan/light brown clothes, right?

Congratulations to your daughter. She just won at life.

On the bright side that was a very witty comeback.

I mix all of my laundry together for the exception of new reds, sweaters & lackey/nylon things. Mixing the blacks & whites is typically fine. Idk why people freak over it lmao

Actually if she washes them with cold water, her clothes will turn out fine. I've washed reds and whites together and everything turns out fine.
