Why would you put the ring in the brownie to begin with?! There was a high possibility she would choke from the start. Next time you try to propose to a girl (and I hope it's not the same girl) think the plan through. If it involves possibly harming her it's not a good idea!

You definitely deserve this. You definitely should have been aware of the fact that placing something as small as a ring inside an edible item can be deadly. As for the walnut allergy, it is known for people not to reveal certain portions of their life for a long time, but this should have been known by the OP.

how can you bite into a brownie, feel a metal ring, and not notice it? she needs to learn to chew her food.
