Well, at least I hope you're a good baker.
why do guys think putting rings into food is EVER a good idea? or a cute idea? it's the dumbest and most disappointing proposal i've ever heard of. if i got a ring in my brownie, a) it would be gross and covered in chocolate, b) i would be like....uhm. you didn't have the guts to just ask, so you put it into a baked good? please tell me you're joking. for future reference, tell all of your friends not to do what you did. because it's stupid. just propose. with words. not messages written in the sky. not rings in brownies. just get on your knee and ask.
If you've been with her three years, how did you not know about the walnuts? And why didn't she look at them first? Regardless, this is horrible. If it happened to me, I would still say yes. But it'd take a week or two to get over. Good luck, buddy.
3 years and I didn't know about her walnut allergy, maybe she shouldn't marry you, you don't pay attention to much
putting engagement rings in food is overdone and overrated
Really? In a brownie? What if she took a hard bite into the brownie and cracked her tooth? You deserved this. Sure, put it in a glass of wine or something....but a brownie? There's no way she's going to see it and there's so many bad things that can result from that. You clearly made that point.
Okay, first of all... NEVER put jewelry in food. It just screams disaster. Who wants to bite a ring? Secondly, if you've been dating someone for three years.. find out what they are allergic to!!! My goodness.
Hmmm, like a lot of others, I don't see the romantics of completely imbedding hundreds of dollars worth of love in a gooey baked good. I could see how a ring in dessert could be romantic though. You know, sticking out of a cheesecake that's beautfully decoratd, but not in far enough to completely destroy the ring with food. a waiter comes out and brings our dessert (covered, of course because it is a fancy restaurant) and when the lid comes off, there is a beautiful ring and when I glance over to the love of my life, he is down on one knee and there is nervous excitement all over his face as he asks me to be with him forever. Romantic? I think so. So ring in food is not always a fail. This just happened to be an extreme disaster. I feel for you, man. I hope she said yes.

Together 3 years and you didn't know she was allergic to walnuts?
If she says "Yes" after all that she must REALLY love you. Hahaha
