Today, I decided to scare my 10 year old sister for fun. I hid behind a door and leapt out, shouting "Boo!" when she walked by. She burst into tears and ran screaming to my mom. My mom thought I'd hit my sister, and was so angry that she punched me in the eye. FML

Your mother really needs to control her anger, and get a general overview of the situation.. If my mom did that to me, i'd freak out.. FYL

Yes, let's solve (non-existent) violence with violence, this sounds like a good plan...

Social Services. She needs to know what the consequences of her action are. FYL.

WOW, why is your mom so violent? That's creepy!

I think a lot depends on your age/gender, but that's still ****** up. PUNCHED you in the EYE?! Call the cops hombre!

abuse? oh come on people -_- you're taking it all too far! it's a funny story and that's that.

Meh. K firstly it was supposed to be, "maybe you SHOULD practise what you preach". Lol yes I should've said you talk too much crap, not just that you talk too much. My bad, that looked hypocritical. It's a common thing to do to siblings. If somebody finds it fun, let them be. It's not harming anyone. It's like if somebody puts a plastic snake in your bed. I can understand that you think it's stupid, but it most certainly does not warrant a punch in the face. With regards to #30, I'm saying yes he/she contradicted herself, but her point still got across if you realised what he/she was TRYING to say . I.e. To correct it he/she could've said "as long as the OP is a child, doesn't matter if they're 16 or 9." That's what they were trying to say. My assumptions, well I guess we'll never know if they're dumb or not. I just don't see why you think violence is a justified resort to this. And I'll just lol in Necca's direction, shame

this is so fake. the pixels are all wrong.

And with the life thing, I was referring to the content of your post, not just posting here in general

to teach you a lesson for supposedly punching your sister, your mum punches you? riiiiiight. sorry but that's kinda... psycho!

Ditto to #53: Punching somebody to teach them to not hit people is sort of counter-productive. Extreme parenting fail.
