She could have married young. It's possible she's only 38 or so, which while ill-advised due to potential health problems for mother and child, isn't impossible or wrong provided you're well informed about what could or might happen.

I'm thinking she's 38 because of her user name. they could have gotten married young which is common for their generation. she maybe excited to be bringing a baby into this world but not excited about the babies father. just a guess.
