Today, I fell over on the bus. X-Rays revealed not only that I have been growing extra bones in my foot, but that when I fell, I crushed all of them. Doctors don't know how to fix bones that aren't supposed to be there, so they're just going to cut them out. Two days before Christmas. FML

what if Thats just the next step in evolution and the doctors just cuts it off because they don't know?

clearly you don't understand how evolution is supposed to work. Evolution, supposedly, makes a species more suitable to survival. Having random extra bones does not make a species more adaptable or suitable for survival. In fact, it's random mutations like this that often get used as evidence for why the theory of evolution isn't such a water-tight idea.

Correct me if I'm wrong...but from everything I have learned about the theory of evolution it's that evolution is basically a bunch of random mutations. Sooo...yeaa.

Ya, evolution is random mutations that benefit an individuals fitness and therefore may go to fixation in a species. Saying that, not all mutations are evolution at work....evolution is the entire process, not just the mutation.

make no bones about it, there is trouble afoot. Toe the line and get ready for some podiatrix.

How did you manage to fall so you break every bone in your foot? Well, you get some time off of work or school or whatever. Broken feet are usually only painful the first day or so. Take care that they don't scar or you'll endure a lifetime of questioning whenever getting a pedicure or wearing open shoes.

haha that's ok i had extra bones taken out of my knee two days before Christmas three years ago and this year im getting the same knee repaired two days before Christmas

Definitely a real genetic disorder. I've heard of it and looked it up for biology once.... Anyway, FYL OP.
