That sucks. I've done it myself. Now I make sure that my inhaler is in my right pocket and my cell phone in my left. I never forget my inhaler now.
Wow, that confused me :(. That sucks though.
as I read this, I said, aw that sucks so, thats what I wrote(:
Try not to take all the BS comments to heart, you know it was serious, this happens to lots of asthma sufferers, my mom and in-law included. It can be very scary knowing that if you have an attack you dont have your life-saving device handy... maybe get a couple and stash them all over just in case, thats what I do for my son.
when i was in preschool my teacher died from an asthma attack.
Freaking out never does anyone any good. If the OP forgot their inhaler, the best thing to do was to remain calm and think through the situation. So, YDI.
ATTENTION ALL ASS HOLES SAYING SUCK IT UP: i have asthma and have for my whole life. i have had 2 attacks without my inhaler on hand and both times while unable to breathe i was literally carried my my friends to the nurse where there is a spare inhaler in case of an emergency. the second time i blacked out from loss of oxygen but only for a few seconds. just a few days ago i was at lax practice and i started having an attack. as always, i had a few seconds of panic when i think if i brought my inhaler with me. i could easily see someone who has a history of panic attacks to have one in this situation or if they at any time realized they didnt have their inhaler.
If it makes you feel anybetter ive done the same thing but i had 3 asthma attacks first.

That sucks. And to the people saying "lame", "YDI", etc. Asthma is serious business. People die without their inhalers. That's like worrying about not having a parachute while skydiving. the OP had every right to freak out for forgetting their inhaler.
Aw, that's one of those things that isn't funny at the time but you'll laugh about it later. I don't have asthma but panic attacks are never fun :( And to all the people who leave comments saying YDI or that you should just get over it - unless you have asthma or know someone who has and suffers from attacks I don't think you have the right to judge whether this is a true FML. Also - have you never left something important behind before? Hope you feel better now though x
