Today, I found out I'm allergic to mosquito repellent. I fly out on a two month trip to India on Saturday. FML

Try using essential lavender oil. It certainly works for me. Also, if you get bitten, apply hot water (around 50-60°C) to the bite for around a minute and it will stop itching immediately because the heat destroys the proteins of the venom.

Tanning lotion with bronzer works wonders. Just remember sunscreen on top.

Use vaseline it works as a repellent. I have tried it.

Not in the part I've visited. There are a lot of mosquitoes, but the bites aren't serious.

Drink a tablespoon of vinegar. I works so well I've never even bought bug spray.
