Today, I found out that my son had sold his house key to one of his friends for half a packet of gum. Now there is someone out there who I have never met with full access to my house. My son is 16. FML

Exactly what I was thinking. Don't change the locks -- lock him out so he has to get the key back himself.

or. just give him the multicolored keys on the multicolored key ring. if he's too careless to realize the importance of giving a stranger access to your home, he should at least have keys that benefit his current maturity level :D
