Not mixing drugs and alcohol is common sense. Both can seriously harm you. OP is lucky to walk away with just a bruised ego.
You must've missed the common sense class in your youth.
Oh damn... I knew I missed something important the day I skipped school to go see that 1D concert!!
I believe you're a bigger nitwit than 1D.
Well, atleast you learned your lesson. :)
Miffed?
It means annoyed
Actually it means confused.
It actually means upset
That could be one amazing commercial on why to follow the directions on pill bottles.
"Frank has taken medication and is on his way to the bar." "Because Frank has decided to take medication and drink at the same time, Frank is now completely inebriated." "Because Frank is inebriated, he is now telling this group of teens he is a Directioner" "Don't tell teens you are a Directioner." "Don't drink and take medication"
Why take a doctor's advice at all? he obviously makes it all up as he has no idea that there could be terrible side effects to pain killers and alchohol, it's not like he went to college or anything.
That is why you need to pick a more obscure band. You'll even sound like a hipster. That will make you more of a nitwit if that's what you're going for.
Just don't even name the band, that'll make you mysterious too, which is even better! "Hey there girls, I'm a practically famous member of that awesome indie band you never heard of! Adore me! Ask for my autograph!"
When I looked "miffed" up in the dictionary, it said- Aroused to impatience or anger. I first saw the word "aroused" and was freaked out because the FML is about teenage girls. Then I read the rest of the definition. Phew! :P

Why would you not listen to that advice?
Why would you think that's a good idea? Listen to your doctor next time, YDI.
