Today, I found out why my five-year-old has been throwing tantrums while shopping. It turns out my ex-husband has been paying her three dollars for every public tantrum she throws. FML

Today, while shopping, my six-year-old son threw a tantrum because I wouldn't buy him a video game. I ended up having to grab his arm and leave the store. He screamed that I was kidnapping him, at which point I was socked in the face and pinned to the floor by three bystanders. FML

Today, I saw a kid throwing a tantrum in a supermarket. Thinking it was a matter of lack of discipline, I waited for the kid’s mother to come out of the bathroom to tell her how naughty her son was being. I then got to watch her beat her son to the point of unconsciousness. FML

Today, my daughter is such a greedy idiot. Her ex was voluntarily giving her over £1000 for the kid but she decided she wanted more, and dragged him to child support court. She’s now only getting about £500 and her ex, who formerly had a great relationship with her, now hates her guts. Idiot. FML

I'm shocked nobody suggested this yet: LET HER HAVE TANTRUMS. Don't punish her, take her out as often as you can, and let her have 10 tantrums a day. See if he can keep up.

We'd been together for over ten years and he wasn't an asshole. Actually, his change pretty much DID happen overnight, pretty much right after his best friend died. Maybe you shouldn't act like you know everything when you only know part of the story. ;)

OP, you should teach your daughter to use words such as "selfish, immature, childish, pathetic" ect, in conjunction with her father's name, in his presence. When he demands to know why his little girl called him childish, or immature, inform him that his little scheme is up. Also, inform him, that she is being punished, thanks to him, because he is teaching her naughty behaviour. If he is going to be a shitty parent, you are going to have to be twice the parent. Inform him you are not going to let him ruin the hard work you have put into making her a polite, mannerful little girl.
