It does suck for her, but if she's a chronic bedwetter it was a dick move on her part not to tell you beforehand.
i feel bad for the girl, what if she actually read this fml story.... i wouldnt be so happy to find out you just had to spread it all over the world...
okay I realize this is a condition and all. and while its true its not HER fault she wets herself, it IS HER FAULT she didn't prepare for it. sure she is embarrassed and sorry and its not her fault, but she could have done something about it.
It's not really that big of a problem for you. It's much worse for her so it should really be FHL. Its a medical condition that she can't control so don't blame her but she should've told you beforehand
It does suck- for both of you. But really, why do you need to get rid of the mattress? Little kids wet the bed all the time, and parents don't go running out to buy new mattresses every time. Take a day to clean the mattress- I'm guessing that if you're really worried about it, a carpet cleaner would do the trick. Otherwise, some bleach and cleaning solution mixed with a lot of water will be fine. And if you're still with her (which would be the smart thing), you could really impress her by getting a waterproof mattress cover that you put on between the mattress and the sheets/pads/whatever. She'll feel more comfortable, you'll protect your bed, and you won't embarrass her as much as you would by handing her a package of Depends.
If I let a dude stay at my house in my bed and he didn't tell me he had a bedwetting problem and I woke up soaked, I'd be piiiiiiissed, pun intended. Yeah she probably was embarrassed, but she should have told you beforehand. If I did that to someone I'd at least help them clean it or buy them a mattress cover.
poor girl... :(

Meanwhile, somewhere else on FML. "Today I felt comfortable enough with my boyfriend to stay the night with him in spite of an embarrassing problem. I did it because he kept pressuring me. I wet his bed, and he was a real jerk about it. He even posted details about it on this site, as if I wouldn't bloody see it. FML"
That's a shame. She's probably really embarrassed about it all. Try to be understanding, if you can.
