Today, the phone rang so I went to answer it. No one was there. A minute later the phone rang again and no one answered so I assumed it was a telemarketer or a prank so I started swearing uncontrollably in rage. Turns out it was my crush calling to ask me out, but she was too nervous to ask. FML

You CAN forward your home number to your cell number while you're out. Maybe she was telling the truth. Give her one more chance, if she brushes you off again, then forget it. She's just not into you. Move on.

It's possible that the call still went to her cell phone; if you have AT&T service for your home and cell phone, there's an option to have a call to your home be forwarded to your cell after a certain number of rings not answered. =)
