You're supposed to wear vinyl gloves when working with ready-to-eat foods, so the lemon juice shouldn't burn the cut you wouldn't have gotten if you'd used the proper safety equipment.

I feel your pain...almost literally; today I was at work at the movies and cut my hand 3 times on a sharp edge of a Lollie cup because it was so busy...and because it was busy I had to make popcorn for 3 hours and the salt stung something chronic. Anywhooooo...

....shouldn't you be wearing gloves if you're touching food? ydi for not being sanitary, that's disgusting that you'd work with food while having an open cut. sure, the pain sucks, but still gloves could have been worn.

ydi for not wearing gloves where I work if we have a cut on our hands we have to have a bandage on and gloves on all of the time regardless if we have wounds or not

are you all (bar one) stupid. They probably were wearing gloves but whrn jucing your hand is used to push the fruit through causing pain from pressure not the lemon juice.
