Today, I got a call from the Hollister manager yelling at me for not showing up for work that night. I was never informed I got the job. I missed my first day of work. FML

Today, I was fired from a job I didn't have. The manager in charge of calling me to tell me if I got the job never called, and never called me back when I left messages. The only time he called me was to fire me for not coming to orientation, which, by the way, he never called to tell me about. FML

Today, my boss called on my day off and told me to come to work. She neglected to tell me that it was simply to give me my recent paycheck after it got lost, but then she said, "Since you showed up in uniform, you might as well clock in for today. The new guy no-showed again." FML

Today, it was my first day of work at my new job. I got dressed and arrived early, only to find out that the store had closed due to a power outage. Then I found out that the person who'd hired me had totally forgotten about hiring me anyway. FML

Today, I went to my retail job to buy some clothing. As soon as I walked through the doors, my manager yelled at me for not being in appropriate work clothes. I tried to explain that I was off the clock but he was having none of it. I got written up. FML

Today, I showed up to work at 6am, only to find out the schedule was changed. I wasn't actually supposed to be there until 9:15. My boss never told me this. I didn't get to go home either, he just said "Oh well. Get to work." FML

This is really for the best. I've worked in retail management for 6 years and got a part time job at Hollister for the extra cash and the discount. I can't believe that place. It was the WORST job managed by a couple of blonde anorexic bimbos. I know it sounds like the coolest job ever (it did to me) but it's really the most unorganized workplace I've ever seen. My 5 hour shifts seemed to NEVER END, like the songs they play that I used to like before realizing that the 13 year old customers pick the music and choose the same 2 songs OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER.... AHHHHHH!

this happened to me too ! they didn't even tell me about the training/orientation session and then i got a call and my manager was like "you know you're working tonight right?" i was like "i didn't even know i was hired..." they're so disorganized at hollister, it's a horrible job. i could only take it for 5 months.
