Today, I got a new cell phone number and sent a text to my wife. Playing around, I said, "Hey sexy are you alone yet? I'm ready to come over." She responded with, "Hey, yeah he is at work - did you get a new number?" FML

Today, I got a text from a number I didn’t recognize that said, "I miss you." Assuming it was my mom and her new phone, I replied, "Miss you too, love you!" Turns out it was my new boss, checking to see if I’d be able to work an extra shift. Even though it was her text that was badly worded, I'm now known as the person who declared her love to the boss. I'm sorry to hear that OP. Just dump her cheating ass. Divorce sucks, but it's better than living with doubt...

Aw so sorry op :( people can be dicks, think it's time to ditch her.

Play along and turn up and confront the cheating idiot, then kick her out to the curb. I hate cheaters with a passion.

Oh, it's so harsh to find out about something like this this way. I'm sorry for you, OP.

................................................................DIVORCE SETTLEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, things tend it change if one of them cheated and there's proof of it. My friend's mom cheated on her dad, and he had proof of it. When her parents got divorced, her mom really didn't get anything she asked for except child support. It really just depends.

Except in "no fault" states. I had proof of my ex husband's adultery, but it had no effect on the divorce proceedings. The fact that he was physically abusive didn't give me any leverage either. Everything was split 50/50...or would have been if he had shown up to the final hearing. It sounds unfair, but it's for a good reason. I lot of people have been murdered by their spouse because the spouse wanted out of the marriage but would have lost everything in the divorce because they committed adultery or abuse or what have you. "No fault"states reduce the chances of that happening.

No fault divorce law also lets spouses kick deadbeats and gold diggers to the curb without invalidating prenups.

I am so sorry OP! I hope whatever happens with your relationship from here all goes in your favor. Which I'm pretty sure it will!

What was ur replying.. ? Keep texting her like that and get that guys name out

Damn... Feel sorry for you... But don't act in haste... Find out the whole truth..

Are you sure that she wasn't just joking around as well? If not, I'm sorry for you.
